Information

Minimum Qualification Times: To qualify as an Indian Elite Athlete for the event, athletes must achieve the qualifying timings listed below. The athletes should have obtained times faster than the qualifying times in any official race between 05th September 2025 and 04th September 2026. Qualification Criteria

Half Marathon (21.097 Km) - Elite: Rules &amp; Regulations1. Application GuidelinesEligibility and Application: Please read all information carefully before submitting your application.An applicant may only apply for the Half Marathon (21.097 Km) - Elite Race category.Each applicant must use a single email address for all communication.Elite Athlete Verification:Prospective elite participants must email their timing certificates for verification to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:eliteathlete@procam.in">eliteathlete@procam.in</a> meeting the timing qualification criteria.Once your eligibility is confirmed, you will receive a unique referral code to access the Indian Elite Athlete Race Registration Form.Registration Process:Registration is exclusively online via the provided link.The applicable refundable entry fee must be paid during registration. No third parties are authorized to collect entries on behalf of the event promoter, Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL).Entry Fees:Each athlete will have to pay a refundable entry fee of INR 4000/- (Rupees Four Thousand only).Accompanying coaches will also have to pay a refundable entry fee of INR 4000/- (Rupees Four Thousand only).Pre-Submission Checklist: Before submitting your application, please ensure you have:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Met the minimum age eligibility criteria for the event.</li><li>Completed all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*).</li><li>Attached your latest timing certificate.</li><li>Uploaded a recent, clear passport-size photograph, as per the guidelines specified.&nbsp; (colour photo with a plain white background, frontal face view with eyes open, no shadows, glare, or headgear).</li><li>Provided accurate bank details for prize money and potential refund.</li><li>Paid the required entry fee.</li><li>Agreed to the 'Waiver', 'Consent', 'Entry Rules and Guidelines', and 'Anti-Doping Undertaking'.</li></ul>ID Verification:ID verification has been implemented to ensure data accuracy and protect participant information.You are required to upload a valid PAN Card or Voter Id or Driving License to verify your full name, date of birth, gender, and nationality.The middle name is collected solely for verification purposes and will not appear on the race bib, official event materials, or be used for event classification.Application Discrepancies and Changes:Any application with discrepancies in the mandatory requirements will be rejected.Once registered and verified, no requests for changes to your name, gender, or date of birth will be entertained. All details must match your PAN card or Driving License.After successful online submission, you cannot edit your profile. Participation ConfirmationConfirmed athletes will receive confirmation via email and WhatsApp within 10 working days after the closure of registrations on 4th September 2026.Only athletes who report on Friday, 16th October 2026 and participate in the race, will be eligible for a refund of the entry fee. Athletes reporting on Saturday, 17th October 2026 will be eligible for a refund after deduction of one day’s applicable amount.3. Entry Rejection and Refund PolicyIf an athlete’s application is rejected for any reason, the entry fee will be refunded (less an INR 120 processing fee) on or before 1st October 2026.A full refund (less an INR 120 processing fee) is available only to athletes who participate in the race and report on&nbsp;Friday, 16th October 2026. The refund will be made on or before 6th November 2026.Refund discrepancies must be reported immediately to the Elite Athlete Management team. Refund queries will not be addressed after 10th November&nbsp;2026.Confirmed athletes who do not participate in the race for any reason are ineligible for a refund.Other Important PointsThe right to reject an application for registration is at the sole discretion of PIPL and is non-transferable.PIPL reserves the right to verify the identity and residence of any confirmed participant. Providing incorrect information will lead to disqualification and forfeiture of all benefits without a refund.Race day images of all participants will be screened. Any participant not wearing their assigned running number bib will be disqualified from the current and subsequent 2027 edition of the event. PIPL may pursue legal action in cases of impersonation.Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disqualification.The event promoter reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon at any time without prior notice.

Prize Money Rules

<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Accommodation: Selected athletes will be provided with accommodation from 1 PM on 16th October 2026 to 11 AM on 18th October 2026.</li><li>Note – All athletes who are eligible for accommodation must check in to the hotel before 3 PM on 16th October 2026, no athlete will be allowed to check in beyond the given deadline.</li><li>All athletes will have to check out by 11 AM on 18th October 2026, failure in doing so will result in athletes being charged for an extra night for accommodation.</li><li>Meals:&nbsp; &nbsp;All meals during the duration of the stay will be provided to the athletes and the accompanying coaches.&nbsp;</li><li>Travel Support: Procam will arrange transportation between the place of stay and the race venue for all elite athletes.</li></ul>

Amenities

<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>All Indian Elite Athletes participating in the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026 will be governed by the anti-doping rules of WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) and NADA (National Anti-Doping Agency).</li><li>Random dope testing will be conducted, with athletes from both the men’s and women’s Indian Elite categories selected for testing after the race.</li><li>This ensures fair competition, protects athlete health, and upholds the integrity of the event, in line with global and national anti-doping regulations</li></ul>

Past Winners & Record Holders

Coaches’ Registration: Coaches who wish to accompany their athletes to the event must register alongside them. Only certified coaches with valid AFI UID Registration Number and bonafide credentials will be permitted, and acceptance is subject to approval by Procam International.Only a limited number of coaches will be permitted to accompany athletes at Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026.Coaches need not register separately. Instead, their registration is processed as part of the athlete's online application. The athlete's registration form will include a dedicated section to add the coach's details.A coach accompanying multiple athletes must register under only one of their athletes' registration forms.A security deposit of ₹4,000/- (Rupees Four Thousand only) will apply per coach, refundable post-event - subject to the coach attending the event along with their registered athlete(s).Only coaches with a valid certification in distance running from a recognized institution such as the National Institute of Sports (NIS) or the Indian Athletics (IA) will be permitted. These bonafide credentials must be submitted during the registration process for verification.All coach registrations are subject to approval by Procam International Pvt. Ltd. The event organizers reserve the right to review and accept or reject any application.Please ensure that all documentation is complete to avoid disqualification of your registration request.
